Terms and disclosures

The statements every customer has to see and accept before buying outcome tokens. Each is written in plain terms, then explained. Accepting them is part of signing up to trade.

Not a customer agreement, and not legal advice. These are the disclosures you accept when you trade. They are written to be read, not glossed over. This product is under legal review; nothing here is a claim of licensing or approval. The no-appeal terminal settlement described here is the path the product is launching on, and it switches on market by market as each market passes its on-chain checks. Until a market gets a terminal binding it keeps the challenge process it listed with. The versioned simulation text shown on the eligibility page may describe an earlier challenge process until it is updated; this page does not silently rewrite it.

Current acceptance text

Version prelaunch-2026-10-15. The sections below describe proposed mechanics, not a live funded offering.

Science Markets prelaunch access terms

This website currently provides research, wallet sign-in and historical simulated records. It does not execute funded trades. No production deployment, regulatory authorization or legal approval is represented by these terms. Future funded markets require separate launch review and disclosures; accepting this version does not authorize them.

Access. Website access is unavailable from US, Iranian and Russian IP addresses and other operator-restricted locations. These are operator access rules, not a claim that all Russian persons or activity are sanctioned. Production access requires fresh trusted location and network checks. Known VPN, proxy and Tor connections, unknown results and provider failures are refused. Wallet actions require sanctions screening. These controls can produce errors and cannot identify every prohibited person, location or wallet. An international IP or a clear screen is not legal permission. Do not bypass restrictions or use the service for prohibited activity.

Your responsibilities. You confirm that you meet the applicable age requirement (at least 18) and may lawfully use this service where you are. You are responsible for your own compliance and any applicable taxes. Your statement does not replace the operator's duties, legally required verification, sanctions restrictions or applicable law.

Risks. AI outputs can be wrong, manipulated, correlated or unavailable; agreement is not scientific truth. Future outcome tokens could lose their entire purchase value and costs, never resolve, or have no liquid exit. Smart contracts, upgrades, wallets, third-party pools, networks and USDC can fail or be frozen. No return, accuracy, liquidity, uninterrupted operation or international legality is guaranteed. Independent public-chain use is not controlled by this website. These terms do not waive non-waivable rights or eliminate operator liability imposed by law.

Privacy. Wallet address, account/session data, versioned acceptance hashes and timestamps are stored. Terms acceptance may include a connection IP and user agent. Eligibility statements do not separately store an IP. Session and CSRF cookies support authentication. First-touch attribution can retain referral/campaign data. Production wallet screening sends the address, Solana chain and network to the configured provider; network screening is performed by the trusted edge. Infrastructure and providers may retain their own logs. No identity-document provider is connected. No automatic retention/deletion schedule is implemented yet; the operator must establish one consistent with applicable duties before public launch.

Operator identity, contact details, governing law, permitted jurisdictions, mandatory compliance requirements and retention policy must be completed and reviewed before public launch. No jurisdiction or legal entity is selected by this text. By affirmatively accepting, you confirm you read this exact version. Updated terms require a new acceptance; withdrawing acceptance stops eligibility without erasing historical evidence.
1. What you would be buyingA YES token and a NO token, fully collateralized in USDC.
The instrument

Each market is one fixed scientific question with two outcome tokens, YES and NO. A complete set is 1 USDC of collateral: depositing 1 USDC mints 1 YES and 1 NO together, held in that market's reserve. The two tokens can be traded against USDC on third-party pools. There is no leverage, no borrowing, no funding payment, no margin call, and no liquidation.

A complete pair is backed by collateral locked at mint. Backing does not guarantee an immediate exit through outages, legal restrictions, USDC issuer freezes or contract failures. A single token on its own has no unconditional 1-USDC redemption: before resolution only a complete pair merges, and after resolution only the winning token redeems.

2. How the money works, gross and netFees are shown separately from the payout.
Gross, fee, net

Every fee is shown as the gross payout, the fee, the net receipt, and the rounding, before you sign. A figure quoted as a "1 USDC payout" is the gross amount; what you actually receive is less the disclosed fee. Losing tokens pay nothing and take no fee.

ActionYou pay / receive (USDC)Where the fee goes
Create a complete set of N pairsPay N × (1 + m)N enters the reserve, N × m is the mint fee
Merge N pairs (before resolution)Receive N × (1 − r)The redemption fee r applies
Redeem N winning tokens (after resolution)Receive N × (1 − r)The redemption fee r applies
Losing token0No fee against a zero payout

The platform fee schedule must be fixed at issuance, not raised on existing holders. Every market's fees are printed on that market's page before you commit anything. Raydium pool trading fees, any enabled creator fee, price impact and Solana network costs are separate. The total applicable charges, recipients, minimum receipt and quote expiry are shown before a wallet signature; a platform fee does not include every third-party cost.

3. Automatic resolutionUnanimous YES/NO against the frozen criteria; no appeal once live.
Resolution

The market has no scheduled expiry. Automatic, irreversible settlement occurs only when all three designated AI models return the same definitive YES or NO against the frozen criteria in one valid round, without a challenge window or settlement appeal. Markets without a terminal binding keep the proposal, challenge and finalization policy they listed with until they are upgraded. Missing, invalid, conflicting or UNDECIDED outputs never settle a market. A market may never resolve.

Removing the settlement appeal can make a correlated model error or manipulated evidence irreversible. No completed counsel review is represented here; this change requires review before a funded terminal market is activated. Removing an appeal does not waive any non-waivable legal rights.

Resolution records that the models agreed. It does not prove the scientific claim is true or false. The AI estimate shown on a market is an estimate of the evidence, not established scientific truth, not a calibrated probability, and not a promise of any payout.

A market settles on the panel's agreed verdict against the frozen criteria, which can be wrong or can lag the science. You can be right about the science and still lose: if the criteria are never met the market may never resolve, and if the panel agrees the other way you are paid nothing on a losing token even when the underlying claim later turns out as you expected.

4. Redemption is up to youResolving does not pay anyone automatically.
You redeem

Resolving a market records the winning claim and makes it redeemable. It does not pay you automatically. You redeem by an action you take. Tokens held inside a third-party pool need a supported withdrawal or claim path, and the platform does not assume authority to move a pool's assets.

The platform does not promise to operate forever, to keep liquidity available, or to make an exit quote available at any moment. A holder of one side can exit through trading, by obtaining the opposite token to merge, or at eventual resolution; none of those guarantees a timely exit.

5. Where and how trading worksThird-party pools; price is not the estimate.

Prices come from third-party pools, not from the platform. The market quote is what a pool would trade at, including its fee and price impact. The AI estimate is the panel's reading of the evidence. They are different numbers and are labeled separately. A quote can be missing; when it is, the site shows no price rather than substituting the AI estimate, and neither is presented as scientific truth.

Access is limited, and it is enforced at the trade, not on a flag alone. Trading on public pools cannot be fully controlled by blocking a website. The access rules apply across the token and the pools, and a lawful exit exists if your eligibility changes. Until a market's access route is fully deployed, funded trading on that market stays closed.
6. Who can tradeSigning in is not eligibility.

Signing in with a wallet proves you control an address. It does not verify who you are. Public access is wallet-only, without email/password signup. The backend keeps a wallet-linked identity and session for authentication and access decisions; it is not verified personal identity. No identity-document collection or KYC provider is connected. Location, age, sanctions and wallet screening are enforced before any funded action: the site blocks traders in the United States and other restricted countries, refuses requests whose location cannot be determined, and checks wallets against the sanctions list. Trading is only available where these checks pass.

Research-only access disables stake funding, swaps, minting, liquidity deposits, trading incentives, and transaction-ready links. Simulation in this build has no transferable value, no redemption, no stake-based reward, and no airdrop entitlement. Where the law or a lawful order requires it, the platform can pause trading, restrict a payout, or block an account; a restriction on a payout does not cancel what you are owed.

7. Conflicts and provenanceThe operator is also the resolver and a liquidity provider.

Science Markets would create the questions, run the resolution, seed the liquidity, and earn fees. It is the issuer, the resolver, and a liquidity provider, and those are conflicts. Treasury LP positions can gain trading fees and can lose money, including to informed trading near resolution. Before funded launch, enforce a conflicts policy preventing insiders from trading, removing liquidity or choosing report times using unpublished settlement outputs; disclosure alone does not implement that control.

Before funded launch, verify that every valid round publishes its audit bundle: prompts, three model outputs, exact average, failed calls and available provenance IDs. Do not claim complete provenance when a provider or stored round lacks it. A bundle is an audit record, not cryptographic proof that a named provider produced those bytes. Secrets and personal information are redacted, and any redaction is identified. No attestation mechanism is claimed unless it is implemented and verified.

8. The classification question is still openSwap, security, insurance, or gambling is unresolved.

Whether a real version of this product is a swap, a security, insurance, or gambling is unresolved. Full collateralization and USDC denomination do not establish an exemption, and moving execution to a third-party DEX does not make the platform's own activities disappear. The risk disclosure walks through the open questions. Anyone who says this is obviously permitted, or obviously prohibited, is guessing.

Country restrictionsProduction website access requires location and network screening.

Production website access, including browsing, sign-in, API and staff pages, is blocked for US, Iranian and Russian IPs and other operator-restricted locations. This is an operator access policy, not a claim that Russia is comprehensively sanctioned.

Production requires a trusted edge to supply fresh country and VPN/proxy/Tor checks. Unknown, stale, blocked or unavailable results refuse site access. Local DEBUG mode does not run these production checks. No live edge deployment is claimed here.

What this does not do: a VPN or similar tool can make a connection appear to come from a different country, and nothing here stops anyone from trading the outcome tokens directly on Raydium or through the on-chain program without this website. This restriction is a control we run at our own boundary, not a statement about where trading is lawful, and it is not legal advice.

Using a VPN or similar means to get around this restriction is a violation of these terms. The country is derived from the connection; for restriction decisions this site records the country code and the requested path, not the address.

PrivacyWallet-only is not anonymous; no identity documents are collected here.

Wallet sign-in stores your address against an internal identity, profile and browser session. The server verifies a message signature; the sign-in nonce expires after five minutes. The site uses session and CSRF cookies, and local storage for your theme choice. Signing out is not deletion of the stored records.

The application records declared and connection-derived location, age attestations, local-list decisions and terms acceptance. Acceptance records can include your IP address, browser user-agent, version, text hash and timestamp. These are not verified identity, residence or AML results. Request logs can also contain IP addresses and request metadata.

First-touch analytics can store referral/UTM tags, referrer host, landing path and session identifier, and link them to your wallet's first connection and simulated activity. These are first-party attribution records, not anonymous statistics. Public comments and submitted evidence may identify you; do not post identity documents, secrets or private data.

If live AI features are enabled, evidence packets and prompts can be sent through OpenRouter to model providers; optional AI moderation can send comment text, thread title and market context. A provider may use search services. Provider retention, international transfers and reuse depend on the selected provider and terms and are not verified here. Wallet extensions and external pool, explorer or RPC services have their own data practices.

No automatic retention/deletion schedule or privacy-request process has been verified for this site's wallet, analytics, acceptance and audit records. Before public operation, the operator must publish its legal identity and privacy contact, purposes and lawful bases, processor/transfer arrangements, required cookie choices, retention periods and applicable access/deletion rights. Do not assume these records disappear when a session expires. Future on-chain addresses and transactions would be public and generally cannot be erased.

This is a description of current software behavior, not a complete launch-ready privacy notice or consent to optional tracking.

9. What is not promisedNo return, no accuracy, no resolution, no continuous market.
  • Returns, yield and profit are not promised.
  • Nothing here asserts the AI estimate is accurate. It is a reading of the evidence, not truth.
  • No promise that any market ever resolves, or resolves within any time.
  • No guarantee of the dollar value or availability of USDC. Holding USDC carries its own risk, including a depeg or a failure of its issuer; this is a USDC-denominated instrument and the platform does not insure the token's value.
  • No guarantee of continued operation or of an available exit quote.
  • No CFTC-approved or SEC-approved scientific probabilities.
  • No leverage, borrowing, margin, liquidation, or funding-rate payments.
You can lose your entire position. A losing token pays 0, and the fees paid on it are not returned. A position can also be worth less than you paid long before resolution, and a market that never resolves can leave an exit unavailable. Only commit what you can afford to lose in full.
Simulation results on this site are not real-money returns. Corrections to any statement on this page are welcome.
